James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. When dealing with others especially those you seek to help, it is imperative that you first ask for wisdom. It is difficult knowing where a person is coming from and where they are at that moment. God is the only one who knows it all. Asking for wisdom and understanding so that you show all the mercy and grace you can is scriptural. Wisdom is helpful even in everyday occurrences. Because we don’t always know what struggles the people around us have or who is listening we must use wisdom in our speech, actions, and over all disposition. I spoke yesterday about having a voice and being bold when dealing with people who have struggles and the crucial thing I realized is even with boldness there’s a need for a large amount of wisdom. It helps us determine how hard to push and weather we should push at all. It also gives us access to ways of dealing with the situation we would have never figured out on our own. We must always remember that wisdom is the road to knowing how to dislike the struggle and always love the person who has it, while at the same time helping them towards freedom. Remember it is accessible all you have to do is ask for wisdom…
